Air Fryer: Cooking Times

When it comes to air fryer cooking, understanding the appropriate durations for different foods is crucial. Air fryers offer a faster cooking time than traditional methods, typically requiring 20% less time than conventional ovens.

Many air fryers recommend shaking the basket at least once during the cooking process to achieve an even, crispy exterior. Experimenting with various cooking times can lead to achieving the perfect balance of crispy texture and moist interior for a wide range of dishes, from vegetables to proteins.

I have found success using the below settings when cooking with my air fryer. Adjust cooking times and temperatures as needed depending on your specific air fryer model and the results you’re aiming for.

Remember to preheat your air fryer before adding your food if your model requires it and always check the food’s internal temperature with a food thermometer for safety.
